I have created wearable pieces that switch from two-dimensional forms into three-dimensional objects when worn. Traditional origami techniques thus translate into practical modern jewellery pieces.
I think every piece should be made for some purpose or function, so wearability is one of the most important design elements in my work. Yet regardless of the material, form, concept, or technique, a successful piece must attract attention and somehow captivate the wearer.
My collection can be worn in various ways and can be enjoyed visually, geometrically, and playfully. My design philosophy is drawn from the pure simplicity of line and fold – seeking a balance between art, design, and geometric fascination.
